Week Four

There was a time that a former friend of my mom’s said on social media that black people can’t do well in higher powers like being a CEO of a company. My mom and I decided to talk about this and use our voices to discuss the importance of this matter. My mom and I messaged the woman and told her what great things blacks have done and the power they hold in society. Also the importance of being happy for a black person when they get into power since they are discriminated against quite often. The situation was important to me because it gave me an opportunity to express how I feel and speak up about discrimination. The lesson from this experience is if you see something wrong do something about it. There are 7 billion people world wide, that is 7 billion people to help others achive something great. I c an able this knowledge to a group project. If someone in my group needs help with a part of the assignment I can help them with that part.
